Job Summary

Alta Mira NM is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Developmental Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Early Intervention Program, you will work closely with families and children to provide individualized support and services.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct developmental assessments and create personalized plans to support children's growth and development.
  2. Collaborate with families to identify their strengths and needs, and provide guidance on how to promote healthy development.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  4. Provide training and support to families on how to use everyday routines and activities to promote learning and development.
  5. Work with other team members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting children and families.
  6. Document progress and outcomes, and maintain accurate records.
  7. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of program policies and procedures.
Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as early childhood education, special education, or a related field. A strong understanding of child development and a passion for working with families are essential. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are required.
