Ag Equipment Sales Professional Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Ag Equipment Sales Professional to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for representing our company in the sale of new and used agricultural equipment to customers in a defined sales area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and the sales team to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge on features and benefits of equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
  • Monitor competitive activity/products and communicate timely to management.
  • Conduct new equipment field demonstrations and maintain current knowledge of used equipment values.
  • Assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods by providing financing options and evaluating equipment for trading purposes.
  • Attend applicable sales training events/seminars to stay current with industry developments.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years agricultural equipment sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and internet functions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and maintain excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.
