Job Title: Transportation Technician

At Ethos Cannabis, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Transportation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of products to our internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
  • Confirming contents to be loaded/unloaded based on sales orders and manifests
  • Safely delivering products to retail and wholesale customers
  • Adhering to all vehicle and traffic safety laws and policies
  • Interfacing with retail and wholesale customers during delivery, representing our organization in a professional and courteous manner
  • Effectively utilizing the state-mandated point-of-sale system
  • Fully completing all required documentation
  • Immediately reporting any inventory discrepancies to the Inventory Manager for further action
  • Assisting with cycle counts and inventory audits
  • Maintaining compliance with all Company policies, regulations, standards, values, and procedures
  • Preventing diversion of products by securing vehicles during transport activities
  • Participating in staff training and maintaining product and industry knowledge
  • Assisting with and receiving deliveries of inbound raw materials
  • Responding to vehicle maintenance issues by timely reporting of issues
  • Following directives of the Transportation Lead, Inventory Lead, and/or Inventory Manager
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Data entry experience
  • Experience in warehouse inventory control or related area
  • Work history that demonstrates stability, progressive responsibility, and willingness to accept new duties
Capabilities and Skills:
  • Strong safety mindset
  • Cannabis experience and knowledge preferred
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of computer and office equipment and programs; proficiency in computer usage, including seed-to-sale software, MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook), and more
  • Ability to focus with a high-level attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, including anticipatory thinking and the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm composure
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with absolute reliability and honesty, high level of integrity, and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Willingness to be cross-trained
  • Exceptional team player with strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work comfortably and effectively within a diverse, multicultural, multi-generational environment
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds for a distance of 50 feet
  • Ability to spend extended time sitting, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Must pass stringent State background test requirements
