PRIMARY ROLE: Oversee and manage various facility systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily maintenance, repairs, updates, and training related to diverse technical systems supporting the facilities department.
  • Conduct site visits to assist personnel with device updates, repairs, and modifications as necessary.
  • Support local Facilities Assistants in maintaining and managing building systems.
  • Utilize GPS and other tools for tracking and managing fleet requirements.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Manage the physical infrastructure of workstations, including VOIP, HVAC controls, A/V systems, and building security systems.
  • Provide user-level adjustments and training on various systems.
  • Perform routine checks of system parameters and controls, such as verifying access system user lists and testing phone call routing.
  • Assist in planning and executing system relocations and changes, particularly during construction or remodeling projects.
  • Collaborate with program staff to align system needs with building readiness and staff/client schedules.
  • Maintain effective communication with staff, vendors, and management through various channels.
  • Work with contractors and professionals during repairs, installations, and other projects as needed.
  • Assist the Facilities Manager and VP of Facilities with local initiatives, including emergency plan implementation and local fleet management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the position.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must pass a Background Record Check.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for travel between facilities.
  • Basic knowledge of cabling, installations, and repairs of common building systems.
  • Experience with hand and electrical tools is essential.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and drawings.
  • Capability to work from heights safely.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dependable, organized, and self-motivated.
  • Physical ability to lift and move items, with or without assistance.
  • Position involves approximately 50% desk work and 50% on-site activities.
