Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Route Coordinator to join our team. As a Route Coordinator, you will be responsible for building and managing routes for our fleet of drivers, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and that our operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage routes for over 60 drivers, taking into account traffic volume, client requests, and new contracts.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on current and future routes, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Utilize software to build efficient and cost-effective routes, ensuring that our operations are optimized.
  • Assist with scheduling and dispatching, ensuring that our drivers are covered and that our clients receive timely service.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee and vehicle information, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in transportation or logistics.
  • Proficiency in using Google Maps or equivalent, as well as Mediroutes or similar dispatch software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on providing timely and reliable service to our clients.
  • Knowledge of transportation operations is a plus, but not required.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, with shifts between 6am and 6pm. The pay rate is $25-$28 per hour.
