PRIMARY ROLE: Responsible for the maintenance and management of various facility systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all aspects of daily maintenance, repairs, updates, and training related to diverse technical systems supporting the facilities department.
  • Conduct site visits to all locations to update, repair, or modify devices and technical systems as necessary.
  • Provide assistance to local Facilities Assistants, particularly in the upkeep and management of building systems.
  • Utilize GPS and other tools for tracking and managing fleet requirements.
  • Coordinate and execute repairs as needed.
  • Oversee the physical infrastructure of employee workstations, VOIP systems, HVAC controls, A/V systems, and building security measures.
  • Facilitate user-level adjustments and training on various systems.
  • Perform routine checks of system parameters and controls, such as verifying user access lists and testing phone call routing.
  • Assist in planning and executing system relocations and modifications, especially during construction or remodeling projects.
  • Collaborate with program staff to align system needs and building readiness with staff and client schedules.
  • Maintain effective communication with staff, vendors, and management through various channels, including email and ticketing systems.
  • Work alongside contractors and other professionals during repairs, installations, and related projects.
  • Support the Facilities Manager and VP of Facilities in local initiatives, including the implementation of emergency plans and the management of local fleet needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the position.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between facilities.
  • Basic knowledge of cabling, mounting, installations, and repairs of common building systems.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and electrical tools.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and drawings.
  • Capability to work from heights safely.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dependable, organized, and self-motivated.
  • Physical ability to lift and move items, with or without assistance.
  • Position involves approximately 50% desk work and 50% mobility for on-site repairs and installations.

Compensation: Annual salary range of $25,000 - $28,000.
