The Heavy Equipment Transport Specialist is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation, delivery, and retrieval of various construction and heavy machinery. This role is essential in supporting branch operations while ensuring a high standard of professionalism and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Transport and deliver a variety of construction and heavy equipment.
2. Operate both commercial and non-commercial vehicles safely and professionally.
3. Uphold a strong commitment to customer service and professionalism.
4. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each trip.
5. Maintain accurate delivery documentation for management review.
6. Navigate challenging driving conditions, including heavy traffic and adverse weather.
7. Secure loads in compliance with DOT regulations.
8. Communicate effectively with management regarding delivery schedules.
9. Observe safety protocols at job sites and company facilities.
10. Assist customers with inquiries about equipment operation when needed.
11. Report any damages or accidents to management promptly.
12. Adapt to management's requests to meet customer demands efficiently.
13. Ensure all paperwork and logs are maintained accurately.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tractor trailer driving within the last three years.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement.
- Current medical certification.
- Hazmat endorsement to be obtained within 120 days of employment, with assistance provided.

Skills:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Proficient in operating large machinery.
- Competent in securing loads effectively.

Compensation:
$26 to $28 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision care, life insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
