Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Manager to join our team at Booz Allen. As a Configuration Manager, you will be responsible for administering support services for projects and programs, maintaining project information for project managers and directors, and providing Configuration Management (CM) support to the team and projects related to the design, development, and production of complex DoD systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer the support services for a project or program and maintain project information for project managers and directors.
  • Provide Configuration Management (CM) support to the team and projects related to the design, development, and production of complex DoD systems.
  • Monitor change processes to ensure updates to Technical Data Packages are implemented promptly.
  • Implement CM processes in accordance with CM plans and industry standards.
  • Conduct Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) on systems before establishing a product baseline, maintain drawings and Configuration Item data in the CM database tool, and update drawing package changes, as required.
  • Support Configuration Control Boards (CCB) by compiling CCB change request data before the CCB, facilitating the CCB agenda during the meeting, and generating meeting minutes for CCBs.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) systems and prepare CSA reports, as required, track Technical Directive (TD) implementation for approved changes, and support the establishment and maintenance of production baselines.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of configuration management practices.
  • Ability to display expertise in learning configuration management to promote the advancement of the programs supported.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • HS diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience working in a professional environment, Associate's degree and 4+ years of experience working in a professional environment, or Bachelor's degree and experience working in a professional environment.
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of technical data as it relates to the design, operation, and maintenance of complex C4I systems.
Clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,700.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD).
