Position: Logistics Analyst (Journeyman) - Configuration Management
Overview:
ITC Defense Corp. is seeking a skilled Logistics Analyst Journeyman to provide essential support to the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) for the International Program Managers and Assistant Program Managers for Logistics (APML) on the CH-53K Israel Program. This role involves comprehensive analysis, coordination, and strategic recommendations concerning the twelve Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements throughout the lifecycle of international programs, with a particular focus on Configuration Management. The ideal candidate will possess experience in International Programs Logistics, Program Analytics, Management, and Information Systems Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Support may encompass various areas, including but not limited to:
- Conducting Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) studies, analyses, and evaluations for diverse international programs, necessitating strong technical expertise and analytical skills.
- Addressing program needs in international logistics and developing innovative strategies for cooperative support arrangements with U.S. security assistance partners.
- Providing technical guidance and insights on international programs.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to assess contracts and project cost accounting.
- Assisting FMS Case Managers and Program Managers in navigating complex technical and program management challenges, offering innovative solutions.
- Supporting new business acquisition and FMS or Security Cooperation case development and implementation.
- Tracking program/project status and schedules to assist program offices.
- Organizing and interpreting data related to aircraft and product programs.
- Maintaining configuration control of acquisition products and data.
- Monitoring configuration changes and coordinating Engineering Change Proposals.
- Applying government-established processes for documentation and change control management.
- Managing ECP planning and evaluation conferences and CCB action meetings.
- Assisting in determining the best contractual negotiation and implementation strategies for engineering changes.
- Executing configuration management processes throughout the program lifecycle, including hardware, software, and documentation baselining.
- Overseeing data management processes, including management of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
- Planning and executing configuration management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Demonstrating proficiency in project management, version control, and database management, along with familiarity with configuration management tools and ERP systems.
- Exhibiting effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Tracking the implementation of corrective actions and evaluating progress to identify problem areas and recommend solutions.
- Participating in Program Management Reviews, Technical Coordination Meetings, and other significant program activities.
- Potentially supervising junior logistics personnel.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
- Active Department of Defense Secret or Interim Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and over three (3) years of relevant experience in FMS, logistics, program management, or a related technical or business analysis field. Additional experience may substitute for a Master's or Bachelor's Degree.
