Position Summary:
Vector CSP, LLC is seeking a dedicated Acquisitions Manager to provide essential support to the United States Coast Guard (USCG) in various program management functions. This role involves comprehensive programmatic, financial, systems engineering, logistics, configuration management, and administrative support for multiple ship acquisition initiatives.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of seven years of proven experience in Major Surface Acquisition Programs or possession of a project management professional certification (PMP), or an equivalent qualification.
- Extensive experience (seven years) in formulating maintenance and support specifications, contract data requirements lists (CDRL), statements of work (SOW), engineering change proposals (ECP), standard operating procedures (SOPs), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and relevant policies and procedures.
- Five years of experience in overseeing logistics, engineering, and configuration management teams within a Major Surface Acquisition Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directing a team of professionals to support all aspects of the USCG ship acquisition programs.
- Performing quantitative analyses to assess information impacting USCG investment strategies.
- Creating and refining maintenance and support specifications, CDRLs, SOWs, ECPs, SOPs, IMS, and related documentation.
- Preparing, coordinating, and developing acquisition briefs, documentation, reports, analyses, and other required deliverables.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Familiarity with USCG programs such as PSC, OPC, and/or WCC is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Access, Project, and Excel.
- Experience in developing, implementing, and testing SharePoint sites, along with creating and managing workflows within SharePoint.
