We are currently seeking a Senior RF Systems Engineer to contribute to our SATCOM and Antenna Technologies division. This role is pivotal in the development and execution of RF technologies for sophisticated communication systems that are essential for national defense and space exploration.

The selected individual will engage with diverse teams to create and implement innovative solutions that meet both commercial and governmental requirements. This position offers the chance to work on cutting-edge projects, including satellite communications and radio telescope systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive proposals for Earth station antenna systems, including research on antenna and satellite standards, and creation of system specifications.
  • Conduct performance prediction analyses, including Noise Figure, Gain, and spurious response, for various antenna systems.
  • Generate essential engineering documentation such as Bill of Materials (BOMs), schematics, and test procedures to support project execution.
  • Demonstrate technical writing skills to articulate product concepts and solutions effectively.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for design reviews using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Utilize RF analysis and troubleshooting skills to address challenges, including RFI mitigation.
  • Perform end-to-end testing of antenna systems to ensure compliance with performance standards.
  • Engage in customer witnessed system integration and testing for performance validation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree with at least 8 years of experience.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense Confidential security clearance is necessary.
