Position Overview

This position is primarily field-based, and candidates should reside within a reasonable distance from the designated primary city.


Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales performance, brand key performance indicators (KPIs), financial objectives, and marketing goals to meet or surpass established targets.
  • Develop pre-call planning objectives and conduct post-call assessments to enhance sales effectiveness continuously.
  • Skillfully address objections, misunderstandings, and concerns, consistently leading to logical and reasonable calls to action to finalize every sales interaction.
  • Proactively strive to meet customer needs, expectations, and challenges, fostering trusted relationships and achieving mutually beneficial agreements between Allergan and its clients.
  • Formulate and implement a call strategy that meets established call metrics while optimizing coverage and frequency to key clients to maximize access and sales potential.
  • Continuously enhance understanding of customer needs, market landscape, competitors, and product knowledge, sharing this intelligence with the in-field team, brand team, and sales management to ensure alignment and anticipate market changes.
  • Differentiate Allergan's value proposition with assigned healthcare providers and identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with disease state experts and advocates to enhance brand performance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated success in sales with strong presentation capabilities.
  • Possesses comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge, recognized as an expert resource by relevant stakeholders.
  • Exhibits strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools; demonstrates strategic and critical thinking skills.
  • Proactively identifies customer behavior and adapts selling strategies accordingly.
  • Effectively operates within a matrix environment.
  • Offers innovative solutions to maximize business opportunities and address challenges.
  • Influences peers and is regarded as a credible and respected resource among colleagues.
  • Builds collaborative partnerships with district colleagues and matrix teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership and support experience with increased responsibilities at district, regional, or organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven success in sales performance within relevant therapeutic areas.
  • Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
  • Proficiency in the English language, both verbally and in writing (for non-English speaking regions).

Additional Information

This position is eligible for participation in short-term incentive programs.
