Job Description: Benefits Broker

We are seeking a licensed, experienced, and motivated benefits broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment and success in the employee benefits industry. This candidate needs to be a key player in driving sales growth and building strong client relationships with a company that offers unlimited earning potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell and Solicit Benefit Plans: Sell, solicit, and differentiate benefit plans that match the needs of clients and prospective customers.
  • Insurance Needs Analysis: Analyze insurance needs for clients and make recommendations for appropriate coverage options within their budget.
  • Proposal Presentations: Present proposals to clients and address any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Benefit Plan Implementation: Coordinate the implementation of new benefit plans, working closely with clients and internal teams.
  • Industry Trends and Compliance: Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure that clients remain compliant and competitive.
  • Insurance Carrier Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and other industry partners.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance metrics, such as client retention and revenue growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (preferred)
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits brokerage
  • Insurance License: Active insurance broker license (required)
  • Sales and Client Relationships: Proven record of achieving sales targets and building long-term client relationships.
  • Benefits Knowledge: Strong knowledge of employee benefits products and services, including health insurance, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills that include written, verbal, and presentation
  • Collaboration and Independence: Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • CRM Software: Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools
