Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Office Receptionist to join our dynamic team at Town Center Orthopaedics. The ideal candidate will be friendly, dependable, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently in a bustling orthopedic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients warmly as they arrive for their orthopedic or physical therapy appointments.
  • Input patient data into our electronic medical records system, utilizing Modmed and WebPT.
  • Confirm any updates to personal information or insurance for returning patients.
  • Facilitate prompt check-in and check-out processes for patients.
  • Collect payments including balances, copays, deductibles, and surgery fees.
  • Coordinate follow-up and physical therapy appointments for patients.
  • Daily scanning of medical records and managing tasks as required.
  • Make reminder calls for Physical Therapy evaluations.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent is required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills are essential.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Modmed or WebPT, is advantageous.
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and seek appropriate resources in challenging situations.
  • Capacity to maintain productivity in a fast-paced work environment.

Work Environment

This position is full-time and requires the ability to travel between multiple office locations. The role does not allow for remote work. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), health insurance, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, and paid time off.
