Chief Seattle Club: Housing Support Specialist

Role Summary:

The Housing Support Specialist role at Chief Seattle Club is essential in delivering culturally sensitive housing assistance and guidance to our members and their families. This position, reporting to the Housing Program Manager, necessitates an understanding of the unique challenges faced by homeless and low-income American Indian communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate housing solutions and collaborate with partner organizations
  • Support successful transitions into stable housing
  • Represent families during case discussions
  • Help develop goal-oriented Family Housing Plans
  • Ensure ongoing support through effective communication and documentation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in case management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working with homeless and/or economically disadvantaged populations
