Job Description

Plymouth Housing Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Float Residential Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Permanent Supportive Housing team, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being of our residents and maintaining a safe and clean building environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tenant Services: Provide exceptional support to residents, including checking in and out visitors, answering phones, and monitoring security systems. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide effective support and resources, and act as a liaison between residents and external service providers.
  • Building Security & Safety: Maintain building security at all times, monitoring and following all building/staff safety and emergency procedures. Conduct regular safety/floor checks and promote a safe, positive, and sanitary environment for residents and staff.
  • Janitorial and Light Maintenance: Perform light janitorial and maintenance tasks, including cleaning individual units, common areas, and facilities. Facilitate access to building areas for contractors and vendors.
  • Administrative: Assist with general support tasks, including faxing, distributing mail, and making copies. Maintain confidentiality and privacy of residents and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma, GED certificate, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Experience: Previous customer service experience and experience providing services to low-income households, families, and individuals with disabilities.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively with tenants, the public, and maintain professional boundaries. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and perform a variety of duties in a dynamic environment.
