Member Service Representative

Overview and Purpose:

As a TAPCO Member Service Representative, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our members. Your role will involve delivering exceptional service by warmly welcoming members and engaging them to understand their financial requirements. You will join a dedicated team that takes pride in making a positive difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently process financial transactions while ensuring accuracy.
  • Identify potential opportunities and refer TAPCO products and services to members.
  • Contribute to branch objectives and support ongoing business initiatives.
  • Be accountable for meeting sales and service-related targets.
  • Address member inquiries and propose solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Perform drive-up and night drop functions as required.
  • Flexibility to work at different branch locations when necessary.
  • Depending on experience, additional responsibilities may be assigned.

Additional Duties:

  • Open new accounts.
  • Process applications for consumer and mortgage loans, meeting with applicants to explain credit policies and verify application data.
  • Promote and sell GAP insurance, mechanical breakdown warranties, and payment protection plans.
  • Responsible for the opening and closing of the branch.
  • Registered as a Mortgage Loan Originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).

Ideal Candidate:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proactively build and maintain relationships with members.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to exceeding sales expectations.
  • Approach tasks with energy, urgency, and a focus on successful completion.
  • Embrace challenges and seize opportunities for growth.
  • Team-oriented with a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in retail sales and service.
