Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Success Manager, you will:

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, offering insights on MongoDB best practices and technology strategies.
  • Facilitate enablement sessions and guide customers in optimizing their technical environments.
  • Collect and relay customer feedback to internal teams to inform product development and service enhancements.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and product engineering to foster innovative solutions.
  • Resolve critical customer issues by identifying optimal solutions that benefit both the client and MongoDB.
  • Develop and execute account plans to mitigate risks and drive long-term growth.
  • Lead executive business reviews with strategic customers, aligning on business objectives and success plans.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Customer Success program by sharing best practices and developing new processes.
  • Document all customer interactions and provide insights to leadership regarding account health.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to ensure alignment on best practices and program updates.
  • Forecast customer churn and growth metrics for senior leadership.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Over 9 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or similar roles.
  • A strong background in advocating for customer needs within large enterprises.
  • A technical mindset with a passion for learning about MongoDB and its applications.
  • The ability to operate autonomously and make impactful decisions regarding customer portfolios.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, ready to build new processes in a developing team.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work closely with various internal teams.
  • A Bachelor’s degree, with a technical degree or MS preferred.
