Insurance Sales Center Team Leader

AAA Club Alliance is looking for a Team Leader to oversee our vibrant Insurance Sales Center. The Team Leader will be accountable for the daily management of the sales operations within the Insurance Service Center, ensuring the achievement of insurance sales targets while promoting a collaborative team atmosphere and high levels of member satisfaction.

**This is a remote (work from home) position, but candidates must reside within the following states or territories: CT, PA, NJ, MD, DE, VA, WV, KY, OH, IN, KS, OK, SD or Washington DC **

  • The starting base compensation for this position ranges from $42,517 to $84,470. The salary range provided serves as a guideline, with the final salary determined by factors such as the applicant's experience and geographic location.

Key Responsibilities of the Insurance Sales Center Team Leader include:
  • Guide sales associates by employing effective supervisory techniques and nurturing a Shared Values work environment.
  • Serve as a technical resource for sales associates by possessing thorough knowledge of all products, processes, and available resources.
  • Monitor the phone system at the beginning of each day and throughout the day to ensure sales associates are accessible and receiving calls.
  • Provide professional coaching and guidance to associates.
  • Compile monthly reports detailing departmental activities and sales statistics for management review.
  • Oversee staffing requirements, including hiring, supervising, training, and evaluating Sales Associates.
  • Manage timekeeping and scheduling for sales associates.
  • Assist in evaluating the performance outcomes of the sales department.
  • Develop action plans for sales associates.
  • Address escalated customer concerns that exceed the capabilities of a sales associate.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • The designated schedule for this position is: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Friday 12:45 pm to 8:00 pm EST. This schedule also includes one rotating Saturday every 8 weeks (9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST).
  • Associate's degree in Business or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in the insurance sales sector, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
  • An active Personal Lines or Property & Casualty License.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in desktop computing, including standard business application software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
