National Accounts Liaison

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled National Accounts Representative to join our team at OmniSource. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for procuring scrap metal from industrial generators and developing new and maintaining existing customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management: Manage relationships with existing customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Margin Opportunities: Maximize margin opportunities with existing accounts through strategic planning and execution.
- New Business Development: Identify and develop opportunities with new customers to drive growth and revenue.
- Scrap Metal Procurement: Procure scrap metal from industrial generators from multiple locations throughout the United States.
- Customer Service: Resolve internal and external customer service issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative work on a timely basis, including data entry and record-keeping.
Qualifications:
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to successfully interact with clients and management.
- Scrap Metal Knowledge: Working knowledge of scrap pricing, material identification, costs, operations, and transportation.
- Lead Generation: Ability to generate leads, qualify leads, and close deals.
- Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- People Skills: Outstanding people skills and the ability to interact with others in a professional manner.
- Independence: Ability to work and make decisions independently, yet be a team player.
- Time Management: Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Organization: Good organization and time management skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
- Travel: Occasional travel required.
