Responsibilities

Cargo Operations

We're seeking a skilled Logistics Operations Manager to oversee our cargo operations in Seattle, WA. Key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving comprehensive training on our cargo operations system, dangerous goods procedures, and company policies;
  • Supervising and monitoring our Ground Handling Agents (GHAs) to ensure they follow our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies;
  • Coordinating and communicating with internal and external parties, such as the Head Office, Port Authorities, and the Civil Aviation Authority;
  • Managing our Unit Load Device (ULD) and accessories stock control;
  • Handling cargo irregularities and addressing customer complaints;
  • Working rotating shifts, including late nights, early mornings, holidays, and weekends, as per the roster;
  • Frequently commuting between the cargo warehouse, airport office, and ramp during shift.

Initial Setup

You'll serve as a local liaison, working with our Taiwan HQ's cargo division to finalize GHA selection and assist with developing local cargo operations SOPs and procedures.

Other Responsibilities

You'll perform other related duties as assigned by your immediate manager.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent leadership, multitasking, communication, and coordination skills;
  • The ability to react quickly, solve problems, and work as a team player;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship;
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
