We are seeking a skilled Construction Truck Driver to join our Marine Maintenance team at the Port of Seattle. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment, including dump trucks and trailers, to transport materials and equipment to and from construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 8 equipment with 10-speed manual transmissions
- Drive heavy trucks, including multi-axle trucks and dump trucks with 10-speed manual transmissions
- Ensure safety regulations are observed during loading, transporting, and unloading of materials
- Perform thorough safety inspections of tractors and trailers prior to operation
- Maintain accurate paperwork and related records
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience operating commercial dump trucks and/or tractor-trailer combinations
- Washington State Class A Commercial Driver's License with Doubles Endorsement and Air Brake restrictions removed
- Current DOT Medical Card
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
