Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Operations Supervisor to join our team at Seattle Children's. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our building systems, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of engineering and maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
  • Manage and maintain building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Develop and implement maintenance and repair schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address facility-related issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including local, state, and DNV standards.
Requirements
  • Five years of related experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Two years of supervisory experience.
  • City of Seattle Grade II Steam License.
  • Preferred: City of Seattle Grade I Steam License, Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, and Certified Healthcare Constructor certification.
