Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Portfolio Manager to join our team at Brigham & Women's Hospital(BWH). As a key member of our Development Office, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 200 prospects capable of making gifts at the $1,500-$99,999 level.

Your primary focus will be on renewing and upgrading donors, building a pipeline for major and planned giving prospects, and keeping current donors informed and connected to the areas of BWH that they are most passionate about.

You will work closely with Major Gift colleagues to further a culture of care, community, and philanthropy, and collaborate with organizational leadership, development staff, faculty, and physicians to achieve our philanthropic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of 200+ prospects
  • Reneew and upgrade donors
  • Build a pipeline for major and planned giving prospects
  • Keep current donors informed and connected
  • Identify and cultivate future volunteer leadership

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4-6 years of relevant front-line development experience
  • Experience with medical fundraising in a hospital or academic institute preferred
  • Advanced knowledge/skills of Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Raisers Edge or similar development CRM experience preferred
