As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and implementing programs for staff development, education, research, quality, and evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive professional development programs for nursing staff in Cardiac Medicine & Surgery.
  • Collaborate with Nurse Directors, clinical staff, and other stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop targeted educational initiatives.
  • Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and conferences to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct needs assessments, program evaluations, and research to inform professional development initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, professional organizations, and industry partners to advance nursing education and practice.
  • Lead quality and safety efforts, promoting a just culture framework and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cardiovascular/vascular nursing, with a focus on education and professional development.
  • Specialty certification in Cardiac Medicine or Surgery required.
  • Current Massachusetts licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
