Role Responsibilities: This position is integral to software development and engineering tasks under ASRC Federal's CECOM SETA Support within the PEO EIS MSP. The PEO EIS MSP is responsible for ensuring that the U.S. Army's software applications are effectively designed, developed, and sustained to meet operational requirements. As a Senior Software Engineer, your duties will include:

  • Designing and developing software applications.
  • Creating tools and interfaces that enhance functionality.
  • Ensuring secure coding practices in alignment with DoD standards.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a ServiceNow Developer role or a similar capacity.
  • Proficient understanding of ServiceNow, including its platform, scripting languages, and database management.
  • Experience in developing dashboards, reports, and integrating with various platforms.
  • Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages like Java or C#.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • ServiceNow certification (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist or Certified Administrator) is mandatory.

Minimum Educational Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Five years of experience within the last seven years in software design, development, and maintenance for various engineering applications.
  • Experience collaborating with analysts to understand their requirements.
  • Experience in developing tools and interfaces.
  • Capability to design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software applications.
  • Experience in setting operational specifications and analyzing software requirements.
  • Experience in designing embedded systems software.
  • Cybersecurity Requirements: IA Technical Level: IAT-1, Personnel Security Standards: IT-II, Position Sensitivity Designation: Noncritical-sensitive (ADP-II), Federal Investigative Standards: TIER 3.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a Secret security clearance.
