Position Overview:
The role of the Product Development Engineer is crucial in our mission to deliver cutting-edge materials that meet the evolving needs of our clients. This position requires a keen understanding of customer feedback and the ability to translate that into effective engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engineer and launch innovative products into production while adhering to customer specifications and company standards.
- Act as a liaison between design, business development, and technical teams to ensure seamless product development processes.
- Collaborate with material suppliers and process experts to enhance product development efficiency.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to foster collaborative product and process innovation.
- Work closely with our laboratory to create comprehensive testing plans that support product development initiatives.
- Keep stakeholders informed about the progress of new product development, including executive leadership and relevant departments.
- Align engineering activities with the company's strategic objectives and key results.
- Participate in critical reviews of product development projects to ensure alignment with business goals.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in a related engineering or technical field, with a focus on new product and process development.
- Familiarity with Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) is advantageous.
- Experience in textile engineering is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office and statistical software such as Minitab or Jump is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
