KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients through observation and interviews. Analyze their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive capabilities to identify needs, skills, interests, limitations, and obstacles for creating and executing personalized treatment plans and interventions.
  • Design and implement treatment strategies that align with patient interests and assist them in reaching defined therapeutic objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, engaging closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and contribute to treatment planning and evaluations.
  • Organize and execute an activity therapy program that encompasses a variety of leisure skills and activities, leisure education, and awareness, integrating principles from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
  • Lead group therapy sessions while offering guidance and support to individual patients during diverse interventions, including art therapy, music therapy, and recreational therapy.
  • Adapt interventions to meet the specific needs of different groups.
  • Exhibit a positive, empathetic, and professional demeanor towards clients at all times. Address and resolve any complaints when patient needs are unmet.
  • Prioritize patient safety and uphold ethical standards by maintaining a secure and therapeutic environment, ensuring confidentiality is always respected.
