Position: Communication Specialist in Speech Therapy

In this position, you will manage and actively engage in therapeutic interventions to support patients facing challenges with speech, language, and hearing, as well as oral myofunctional issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee the Communication Disorders Service Department.
  • Perform assessments and therapy sessions as directed by the referring physician, and suggest appropriate treatment plans for approval.
  • Design and execute therapy programs, including establishing goals for patients and conducting regular re-assessments.
  • Participate in the in-service training program for HomeCare personnel.

Position Type: Part Time, or PRN

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or an equivalent qualification.
  • Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SP) from the American Speech and Hearing Association or be eligible for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Licensure in relevant state(s) is required.
