Chief Program Officer Opportunity at Center for Caregiver Advancement

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Chief Program Officer to join our team at the Center for Caregiver Advancement (CCA). This is an exciting opportunity to lead our organization's programmatic initiatives, cultivate strategic partnerships, and manage a talented team to drive impact and excellence in caregiver training.

About the Role

The Chief Program Officer will play a pivotal role in guiding the development and execution of programmatic initiatives that serve California's paid caregiver workforce. Reporting to the CEO, this leader will oversee strategic program direction, cultivate key relationships, and manage a high-performing team to enhance programmatic impact and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Direction and Management: Ensure all programmatic and funder requirements are met or exceeded, particularly in relation to IHSS home care and Skilled Nursing Facility training and career advancement programs.
  • Benchmarking and Data-Driven Strategies: Establish and manage benchmarks for program performance, advising on strategies to address challenges such as workforce recruitment and retention, job quality, career advancement, and evolving training needs.
  • Staff Leadership and Management: Connect with and motivate staff, embodying a collaborative and servant-leadership approach to maintain staff connection to mission.
  • Relationship Building/Thought Leadership: Cultivate relationships with key funders, stakeholders, and community partners to enhance CCA's visibility and influence within the industry.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred; Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in program management, with a focus on healthcare, nonprofit, workforce development, or labor management training partnerships.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proven track record in program build and execution with continuous data-driven improvement, with significant experience in program management for diverse populations.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $180,000, a comprehensive benefits package, and a generous time off schedule. The position is a full-time hybrid role with travel to the Los Angeles area for in-person meetings and events required 14 times a year.
