Job Summary:

The Executive Chef is a key member of the Thompson Hospitality team, responsible for leading kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of service to our clients. This role requires a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead kitchen operations, including menu development, production, and sanitation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the Food Service Director and Production Manager to achieve company and client financial goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies and company standards.

Requirements:

  • Culinary degree preferred.
  • Three to five years of culinary management experience.
  • High-end catering experience helpful.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of current culinary trends and menu development.

Physical Demands:

The Executive Chef will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
