About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Gecko Hospitality. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery and café, providing exceptional guest service, and leading a team of talented individuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of restaurant staff to deliver exceptional guest service and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Front-of-House Operations: Ensure seamless front-of-house operations, including managing schedules, shifts, and staffing requirements to optimize coverage and maintain a harmonious and productive work environment.
  • Guest Service: Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor team members to deliver top-notch guest service and uphold our values and standards.
  • Health and Safety: Uphold health and safety regulations to guarantee a safe experience for both guests and team members.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of current restaurant management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience managing a large team/staff.
  • High personal integrity, professionalism, and maturity.
  • Experience working in fast-paced/busy establishments.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, especially during busy periods.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Hands-on experience hiring, training, developing, and managing staff.
  • Detail oriented and proven problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of food quality, hygiene, and consistency.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences and a dedication to upholding high standards.
  • A flexible schedule and the availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Educational/bachelor's degree (preferred).
