Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Associate to join our team at Carolina House. As a Behavioral Health Associate, you will be responsible for providing personal care services to patients under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards patients and colleagues.
  • Ensure the well-being of patients and provide a safe, secure, and comfortable environment.
  • Conduct safety checks and ensure supervision is conducted at 15-minute intervals.
  • Document timely, accurate, and appropriate clinical information in patient records.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, meals, snacks, hydration, and changing bed linens.
  • Obtain patient vital signs, height, and weight as assigned and document in patient records.
  • Facilitate patient educational-rehabilitative groups and engage patients in activities designed to encourage achievement of treatment goals.
  • Complete and maintain required documentation and assist with follow-up and paperwork as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six months or more experience working with the specific population of the facility preferred.
  • One year of mental health experience.
