Position Overview:
As a Sales Associate, you'll play a vital role in driving revenue by building strong relationships with clients, sharing product knowledge, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment. You'll consistently meet or exceed individual and store goals, ensuring a positive impact on our business.
Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance with all Knitwell Group practices and procedures
- Assist with additional responsibilities as assigned by management
- Meet or exceed divisional, store, and individual financial and credit goals
- Provide exceptional client service by anticipating needs and exceeding expectations
- Build relationships with clients, create loyalty, and multitask while servicing internal and external clients
- Address client concerns, resolve issues, and involve management when necessary
- Portray a friendly, energetic, and engaging manner, while being respectful and professional
- Take ownership of feedback and use it for professional growth and development
- Communicate effectively with management, team members, and external clients
- Build collaborative relationships by sharing ideas, treating others fairly, and valuing differences
- Embody our company values and inspire team members through your actions
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, practices, and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local laws
- Complete opening and closing procedures, focusing on client satisfaction
- Meet merchandise processing standards and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Adhere to Loss Prevention practices and report potential incidents
- Maintain a safe work environment and report hazards to management
- Participate in inventory preparation and assist with other tasks as needed
- Follow all Knitwell Group operational guidelines, processes, and procedures
- Review bulletin boards daily
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and navigate our computer systems
- Perform register transactions efficiently and accurately
- Use Distributed Order Maintenance and StyleFinder to locate products and process transactions
- Operate the phone, answering calls with a friendly greeting and transferring calls as needed
- Understand and operate the Point of Sale (PDT) system
- Understand and articulate our brand positioning, including our unique expressions, marketing initiatives, and product knowledge
- Live our company values and behaviors in all interactions
- Participate in store meetings and attend training sessions
- Use associate education tools to build product and styling knowledge
- Embody our brand by adhering to our dress code guidelines
- Pack and wrap client purchases according to our standards
- Client Service: Ability to prioritize client needs and build a loyal client base
- Follow Directions: Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision
- Merchandising: Knowledge of visual standards and ability to implement and maintain them
- Communication: Effective communication with clients, management, and team members
- Accuracy: Ability to handle cash and provide change without error
- Schedule: Flexibility in scheduling to meet business needs
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and maneuver around the store
- Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum one year sales associate or relevant experience in the services industry with proven results
