Job Summary

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Duke University School of Medicine invites applications for a board-certified/board-eligible Psychiatrist to support acute care services, including inpatient psychiatry, general consultation-liaison psychiatry, transplant consultation-liaison psychiatry, and emergency psychiatry. This position is a faculty appointment with a rank commensurate with the applicant's experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in individual and team-based clinical activities focused on adults with a range of psychiatric disorders.
  • Conduct medical and interdisciplinary evaluations and interventions with adults presenting a wide array of needs.
  • Supervise students and trainees, as well as provide in-service trainings.
  • Engage in scholarly activities and contribute to the growth and development of the department.
