Job Summary

The Behavioral Health Technician plays a vital role in supporting our residential milieu by facilitating therapeutic activity groups, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, and maintaining a recovery-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in therapeutic meals and snacks, providing support to residents during mealtimes and snacks.
  • Support residents during structured outings and recreation, promoting a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
  • Monitor and support bathroom use per client treatment, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
  • Monitor and document exercise, promoting physical activity and well-being.
  • Be available to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Mental health experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and authorization to drive required.
  • Previous direct mental health experience preferred.
