We are currently looking for a Project Engineer - ISS/Orion ECLSS Projects to be part of our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engineering and testing activities for the production of ISS/Orion Emergency Masks intended for space missions.
  • Assist in the procurement, assembly, and evaluation of flight hardware components.
  • Create necessary documentation for assigned tasks, including Task Performance Sheets (TPS), Discrepancy Reports (DR), and Detailed Test Procedures (DTP).
  • Collaborate with various teams and suppliers to resolve issues related to assembly and testing of flight hardware.
  • Investigate and analyze anomalies in flight hardware and implement corrective measures.
  • Execute job functions following established guidelines and instructions.
  • Engage in teamwork and report to senior engineers or project leads for technical guidance and task management.
  • Assess the quality and adequacy of results from engineering tasks.
  • Utilize engineering techniques to analyze and evaluate complex problems and data.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is typically required, along with relevant experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across various technical disciplines.
  • Familiarity with concepts and practices in mechanical system design, engineering documentation, material selection, and testing methodologies.
  • Capability to visualize and work with intricate mechanical systems and collaborate effectively in problem-solving scenarios.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with flight hardware or Environmental Control and Life Support Systems (ECLSS) development.
  • Knowledge of organizational processes and procedures relevant to aerospace projects.
