Key Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineer registration in Texas is essential.
  • Experience in developing and overseeing engineering deliverables, including engineering reports, design drawings, technical specifications, and other detailed engineering outputs.
  • Familiarity with local codes, development processes, and utility regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing water and/or wastewater pumping, treatment, and conveyance projects.
  • Experience collaborating with clients in both public and private sectors.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D software and MS Office applications.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capability to thrive in both independent and team-oriented environments.
  • A detail-oriented work style combined with a proactive and accommodating attitude.
Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role may include:

  • Managing subcontractors and overseeing project cost and schedule performance.
  • Engaging in functions that involve direct contact with client representatives.
  • Collaborating with project team members.
  • Assisting in and potentially leading the preparation of work plans, subcontract specifications, feasibility studies, long-term monitoring reports, AutoCAD design plans, O&M plans, and cost estimates.
  • Contributing to and potentially leading proposal preparation efforts.
  • Participating in technical and sales presentations to clients.
  • Handling both field and non-field related responsibilities.
