We are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineering Specialist to join our team in the downstream oil and gas and chemical sectors. This position requires candidates with the legal right to work in the US without sponsorship.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Utilizes extensive technical expertise to tackle engineering assignments, including intricate challenges, and to execute project tasks with a high degree of autonomy.

Acts as the Senior Process Engineering Specialist on significant and multifaceted projects.

Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in all aspects of process engineering, including deliverables such as feasibility assessments, optimization analyses, process simulations, and heat and material balances. Responsible for sizing process equipment, preparing process data for instrumentation and mechanical data sheets, and hydraulic piping line sizing, along with other methodologies and reports.

Additionally, possesses strong capabilities in conducting relief calculations and flare network modeling.
Provides support to project management teams through regular updates, scheduling, resource planning, and coordination.
Capable of reviewing engineering calculations and drawings in compliance with industry standards; delegates tasks and oversees the work of junior personnel.
Facilitates ongoing communication between the process team and other engineering disciplines to ensure the quality of work and maintain consistent technical content across all design documents and data throughout the project lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
A minimum of 15 years of experience in process engineering.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to conduct occasional site visits, including climbing stairs and ladders, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Preferred: NCEES Professional Engineering License.
