Job Overview

ROLE SUMMARY: The Retail Counter Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the operations of the Charlotte Tilbury brand. As a representative of the Charlotte Tilbury brand, the Retail Counter Supervisor is expected to exemplify brand values and cater to the customer demographic effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales Management:
    • Drive financial performance in the store to achieve and surpass sales targets, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Average Unit Sales (AUS) and Items Per Transaction (IPT).
    • Set personal KPI goals and lead by example.
    • Communicate and manage agreed-upon objectives with team members.
    • Act as a specialist among retail artistry brands, demonstrating an entrepreneurial spirit within company guidelines.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Address customer inquiries with sound judgment to achieve positive outcomes.
    • Collaborate with the Account Executive and Area Trainer to ensure ongoing training and development of the team, maintaining Charlotte Tilbury standards in service and artistry.
    • Extend exceptional customer service beyond the in-store experience whenever possible.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Anticipate staffing needs proactively, including sourcing and selecting talent to meet business objectives.
    • Set individual and team sales targets to exceed performance expectations.
    • Analyze business performance and develop strategies for daily operations and events.
    • Promote the Tilbury Touch consistently to both team members and customers.
    • Foster an environment of open communication, professionalism, and creativity through team meetings and a collaborative management approach.
    • Recognize and celebrate outstanding performance within the team.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Ensure the counter is prepared for customers from opening to closing.
    • Maintain appropriate inventory levels and accurate stock records.
    • Control store expenses, including counter consumables, within budget constraints.
    • Implement visual merchandising and promotional displays as directed by the marketing team.
    • Ensure technology at the counter is well-maintained.
    • Address operational issues promptly for resolution.
  • Store Relationships:
    • Develop and maintain a cooperative relationship with the store retail operations team.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to drive sales within the store.
    • Schedule team members effectively to optimize coverage based on customer traffic.
    • Uphold excellent hygiene standards at the counter.
    • Adhere to store standards and policies consistently.
