Job Summary

As a Deli Department Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our deli department. You will be responsible for training and developing team members, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement training programs for deli staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle all aspects of their roles.
  • Work closely with the department manager to analyze sales data, identify trends, and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Supervise daily operations within the deli department, including food preparation, display, and customer service interactions.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and company standards, maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Promote product sales through effective merchandising techniques and suggestive selling strategies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of deli operations, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Previous supervisory experience in a retail environment is preferred.
