Job Summary:

The Community Engagement Coordinator is a dynamic and customer-focused professional responsible for coordinating and implementing on-site resident engagement programs that foster community building and support the economic and social needs of the community. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement a comprehensive community engagement strategy that promotes resident interaction and relationship building within the apartment community and the community at large.
* Establish and maintain a well-rounded activity/event schedule that supports community building and resident engagement.
* Host and coordinate monthly community meetings with the Community Manager as scheduled.
* Maintain a published schedule of monthly community meetings for the entire year.
* Develop relationships with professional partners who can provide seminars, employment/training resources, and other support services to residents.
* Conduct household inspections monthly based on recertification schedules and document findings using the Household Inspection Form in Yardi.
* Assist with the Interim Recertification process and monitor adherence to programmatic, work, and other requirements as needed.
* Provide feedback and support to the administrative team regarding employment/financial and other status of residents.

Requirements:

* One to two years' experience in property management, social services, or program management.
* Experience in dealing with customers or the general public.
* Previous management experience is helpful.
* High School Diploma or GED; College degree strongly preferred.
* Proficient in MS Office Suite; Yardi experience a plus.
