Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Meeting Manager to join our team at Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing corporate events and catering services, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and negotiation
  • Facilitate and close corporate business deals, meeting or exceeding resort revenue goals
  • Produce accurate contracts, banquet/catering event orders, and resumes within set timeframes
  • Maintain accurate information in sales management tools, including solicitation efforts and activities
  • Conduct site inspections, local sales calls, and attend trade shows and client events
  • Negotiate contracts, upsell, and ensure all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented
  • Follow proper event management procedures for event execution, including Banquet Event Order creation, F&B forecasting, and room block management
  • Ensure proactive communication with other department managers and associates to create seamless transitions and positive memorable experiences
Requirements:
  • Minimum one year experience as an Executive Meeting Manager, Sales/Catering/Event Coordinator or Manager
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Demonstrated ability to understand guest requirements and translate into sales solutions
  • At least 4 years of progressive hotel sales experience or a 4-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience
