Job OverviewTEKsystems is seeking a skilled Digital Project Management Executive to oversee the successful delivery of complex software development projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

Salaries for Digital Project Management ExecutiveThe estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This figure is based on industry standards and takes into account the level of expertise required for the position.

Job DescriptionAs a Digital Project Management Executive, you will be responsible for:

Project EstimationDefining project scope, planning, discovery, and estimation workshops with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate cost quantification and resource allocation. Creating high-level project plans and estimates for executives and cross-functional leaders, taking into account key assumptions, dependencies, and risks.

Project PlanningDeveloping project schedules and communication plans to ensure proactive scheduling of key deliverables, milestones, and tasks. Establishing project financial forecasts, including resource plans and other expense plans, to validate scope completion within timeline and budget. Collaborating with cross-discipline functional leads to estimate resource needs and ensure necessary steps and dependencies for project delivery are established.

Project DeliveryLeading and driving cross-functional projects and individual project tracks of large programs through full delivery lifecycle, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. Managing resource assignment, budget, scheduling, and scope prioritization, as well as change control, to mitigate risks and ensure project success. Serving as the primary liaison among multiple teams, including Product Management, Design, Technology, vendors, and other key functional delivery teams, to communicate regular updates, project plans, and budget spend and forecasts.

Required Skills and QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 4-7 years of relevant work experience in project management, preferably in eCommerce, marketing, merchandising, or operations
  • Direct management and accountability for single project budgets of $2-5M in labor
  • Strong project leader with at least 4 years of experience in leading large, multidisciplinary digital teams
  • 2-5 years Agile delivery experience
  • 1-2 years mobile application (iOS, Android) delivery experience
  • Minimum 3 years of client management experience in successfully delivering internet solutions
  • Experience in a matrixed responsibility organization working with multiple Product Managers per effort
  • Strong experience facilitating the gathering and development of requirements for complex solutions
  • Possesses significant practical experience in the basics of project management (estimation, project planning, resource planning, issue management, risk management, change management, communication planning)
  • Experienced in multiple full lifecycle software deliveries from business development to final software acceptance
  • Demonstrated analysis/assessment capabilities
  • Able to lead teams to a successful delivery approach
  • Able to work both collaboratively and independently while maintaining a high level of productivity
  • Able to work under tight timetables and high pressure situations
  • Must possess excellent business communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and solution-oriented when managing issues
  • Comfortable when communicating with executive level (Directors, VPs) in presentations, working sessions, and 1-on-1 interactions
  • Practiced in negotiating with others in ways that result in win/win agreements and outcomes
  • Must be open to coaching and guidance
  • Exhibit good judgment skills on when to seek guidance and when to escalate risks and issues
