Vice President for Development Strategy and Major Gifts

Hispanic Federation seeks a seasoned fundraising professional to lead our development efforts and drive growth in major gifts and strategic partnerships.
About the RoleThe Vice President for Development Strategy and Major Gifts will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, building and maintaining relationships with major donors, and leading a team of development professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan to achieve annual goals and objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners
- Lead a team of development professionals to achieve fundraising goals
- Collaborate with executive leadership and the Board of Directors to advance the organization's mission and goals
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts to ensure financial sustainability
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in fundraising and development
- Minimum 8 years of experience in fundraising and development, with a proven track record of success
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and developing a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, stakeholders, and colleagues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and manage budgets and forecasts
- Experience with fundraising software and technology, with a strong understanding of data analysis and reporting
Hispanic Federation offers a competitive salary range of $100,000-$110,000, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, access to flexible spending for medical and transportation, and a 403(b) retirement plan available at start, with organization match after 6 months of service.
