Your Role

We are seeking a dedicated Valuation Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage valuation methodologies to support various financial functions through data analysis, forecasting, and ad hoc assessments across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including accounting, marketing, FP&A, and corporate development to deliver valuation insights that inform strategic business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated valuation models, tracking value fluctuations over time and providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of customer relationships, derivative instruments, and other financial contracts to forecast expected cash flows.
  • Engage with corporate development and strategy teams during acquisition due diligence to assess transaction impacts.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and T-Mobile developments to provide relevant analysis and support to senior management.
  • Utilize your expertise in finance and accounting principles, including ASC 820 and IFRS 13, to ensure accurate fair value measurements.
  • Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to enhance decision-making processes and present findings to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting controls and audit processes to support the successful implementation of financial models.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by providing mentorship and training to junior team members.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in valuation, finance, commercial banking, or data analytics.
  • In-depth knowledge of valuation concepts, including business enterprise valuations and derivatives.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with cash flow forecasting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in valuation or financial modeling within professional services.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools such as SQL, SAS, Python, or R.
  • Experience with financial due diligence and various accounting standards.
