Job Title:

Director, Organizational Development

Job Summary:

The Director of Organizational Development will drive strategic initiatives to enhance Roswell Park's culture, improve overall performance, and foster employee development. This role will implement strategies to enhance the retention, development, and growth of all employees, with a focus on underrepresented backgrounds. The Director will work closely with senior leadership to design and implement programs that align with organizational objectives and promote workforce development, employee engagement, and change management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance Roswell Park's culture and improve overall performance.
  • Design and implement programs to enhance the retention, development, and growth of all employees, with a focus on underrepresented backgrounds.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to align programs with organizational objectives and promote workforce development, employee engagement, and change management.
  • Conduct needs assessments as necessary and manage the organizational development function within the Human Resources Department.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time progressively responsible human resources management experience, including eighteen (18) months of experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial, or executive capacity.
  • Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of eight (8) years of full-time progressively responsible human resources management experience, including eighteen (18) months of experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial, or executive capacity.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Organizational Development/Leadership and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time organizational/leadership development in-house experience, with a proven track record of implementing well-attended programs with significant organizational impact.
  • The equivalent of five (5) years of full-time experience in a managerial or executive capacity.
