We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Advocate Specialist to join our team at RevOne Companies. Key Responsibilities- Face-to-Face Interactions: Handle a high volume of face-to-face interactions with patients, providing clear and timely communication and ensuring that their needs are met.
- Communication Skills: Develop and maintain effective communication skills, including verbal and written communication, to interact with patients, hospital staff, and other stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve patient concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete records of patient interactions, including documentation of patient information, eligibility, and application status.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with hospital staff and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of experience as a Patient Advocate or equivalent training and experience combined preferred.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to learn multiple databases, and proficiency in computer skills required.
- Knowledge: Considerable knowledge of Medicaid programs, Federal Marketplace, and agency and provider programs and services required.
The Patient Advocate Specialist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, interacting with patients, hospital staff, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Schedule: Full-time; Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM EST
Compensation: $17-22/hour
