Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Auto Parts Counter Sales Representative to join our team at Metalico Skyway, located in Buffalo, NY. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, inspecting vehicles, and facilitating a successful sales process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the automotive parts sales process, ensuring seamless communication with customers and staff.
  • Inspect all purchased vehicles thoroughly, checking under the hood, interior, and VIN number.
  • Manage cash drawers and balance transactions accurately.
  • Enforce facility and yard policies, maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in automotive parts sales or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Fast-paced, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Multi-line phone skills and computer proficiency.
  • Professional attitude and appearance, with excellent communication skills.
  • Current Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work assigned schedules, including some Saturdays.

Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $17-20/hour, based on skills and experience.
