Job Title: Material Planner III

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Planner III to join our team at SPECTRAFORCE. As a Material Planner III, you will be responsible for coordinating materials and other parts and resources needed to manufacture products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine Required Materials: Determine the required materials and generate necessary purchase orders for them.
  • Ensure Material Quality: Ensure materials meet specifications, and quality standards, and are cost-efficient.
  • Ensure Consistent Supply: Ensure the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Coordinate with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, supplier payments.
  • Evaluate and Prepare Cost Estimates: Evaluate and prepare cost estimates and performance reports for material purchases.
  • Schedule and Monitor Supply: Schedule and monitor the supply and delivery of materials and products.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Material Management Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and material management systems.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
